Talk Of The Town: Allu Arjun’s Dark Makeup

These days, star heroes are appearing in dark makeups to do deglam roles. Especially in recent times, both Hrithik Roshan (Super 30) and Ranveer Singh (Gully Boy) did a fantastic job with their looks no matter how their respective films did at the box office.

Here comes Allu Arjun’s doing the same, but rather doing that for his rugged movie #AA20 being directed by Sukumar, the star hero experimented the same with Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo itself. Looking at the teaser for the first time, many felt that Allu Arjun’s makers have forgotten to get the proper colour grading done, as the actor is looking bit darker than his real skin tone in one shot.

But after watching the fact that even Murali Sharma is also looking dark, it is understood that deliberately these two actors have portrayed the dark makeup. No doubt, altering the complexion is something that happens very rare in Telugu cinema and we have to see how our star hero nailed it.

With the teaser getting a fantastic response as it clocked almost 6+ million views in 20+ hours, the makers are quite excited about the result. Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo is set for January 12, 2020 release.
