It is known news that Priyamani is playing the lead role in upcoming film Naarappa in which Venkatesh Daggubati is playing the lead role.  Today on the occasion of Priyamani’ birthday, the makers of Naarappa released a poster.

Coming on the poster, Priyamani is seen like a typical village house wife in red saree sitting in a bullock cart. She is essaying the role of Sundaramma, the wife of Venkatesh Daggubati in the movie.

Priyamani is returning to Telugu film industry after four years gap with two back to back movies.  Venkatesh and Priyamani starrer Naarappa is being helmed by Srikanth Addala and produced by D Suresh Babu and Kalaippuli S Thanu. It is remake of Tamil film Asuran in which Dhanush essayed the lead role. Shyam K Naidu is handling the cinematography, whereas Mani Sharma is scoring the music.

The makers have already released the first look poster of Venkatesh from Naarappa  that showed the actor in exactly the same outfit as Dhanush from Asuran. Dhanush starrer Asuran, directed by Vetrimaaran was based on Poomani’ novel Vekkai, and turned out to be a massive success and has won multiple awards.

Apart from Naarappa, Priyamani is also working with Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi  in Virata Parvam.
