The combination of Superstar Rajinikanth and Universal hero Kamal Haasan is an undisputed one. In the beginning of their career, both featured in many films and it garnered them huge stardom. But after becoming South Indian superstars and pan-India popularity, Rajini and Kamal did not appear together in any film.

There are fans of both the heroes who want to see Rajini and Kamal sharing the screen space yet again. Some time back rumours came that Rajini and Kamal would be certainly coming together for a film. But then both have ventured into politics and slowly they want to reduce the films and concentrate full time on politics.

Just when many have lost hopes, a happening director in Kollywood is said to be working on a film in the combination of Rajini and Kamal. The director is Lokesh Kanagaraj who shot to fame with ‘Kaithi’ (Karthi’s Khaidi in Telugu) and Thalapathy Vijay’s ‘Master.’

Recently in an interview, Lokesh was asked about Rajini and Kamal multi-starrer. To this he replied that he can’t comment anything on it currently and the production house would reveal all the details. Lokesh did not rule out the reports too which hints that this biggest multi-starrer is soon going to happen.

Lokesh is certainly making a lot of noise with his films. A few days back we heard that Telugu production house Mythri Movie Makers have signed Lokesh and a big Tollywood hero would be featuring in it.
