Social media was buzzing with Mother’s Day posts yesterday. Celebrities, especially, led the way in paying a tribute to their mothers and sharing childhood pictures on Instagram. Several celebs are missing their mothers since they are away from them during the lockdown and bridging the distance via video calls and messages. Rakul Preet Singh, too, got in touch with her mother on a video call. But that’s not all. The actress also whipped up something special for her mother. She shared her culinary masterpiece on her Instagram story where one could see a delectable mango cheesecake and juice laid out on a table. To give it a special touch, she wrote ‘Mom’ in whipped cream on her creation.

Rakul also shared a post on her social media handle where she posted a throwback picture along with her mother and captioned it, ‘Mommmmmy it’s ur day and I can’t tell you how much I love you. Behind all our stories is our mothers story because hers is where yours begins! Thank you mom for writing my story and being my strength throughout the journey. You have taught me how to be selfless, kind, to understand love, to be a fearless independent girl and most importantly to be balanced. I cannot ever thankyou enough but I can promise to be a best version of myself with each passing day. Love, love, love you.’
