The Telugu remake rights of popular Kannada film, Love Mocktail, featuring Krishna and Milana Nagaraj, have been secured by producer-director Nagashekhar.

Popular Kannada film Love Mocktail, which set the cash registers ringing at the box office, is all set to be remade in Telugu soon. According to reports, actor Satyadev and Tamannaah have been approached to play the lead roles in the Telugu version of the film.

Love Mocktail is a romantic drama which released in January this year. The film garnered huge positive response from both the audience as well as the critics. Following the success of it, popular Kannada film producer and director Nagashekar has approached the makers of the film and secured the Telugu remake rights.

The statement from the unit reveals that Nagashekar will direct the Telugu version of the film and the shoot is likely to begin in September. The Telugu film will have music by Kala Bhairava and cinematography by Satya.

While details regarding the cast and crew are yet to be announced, sources say that actors Tamannaah and Satyadev have been finalised to play Milana and Krishna’s role from the original. However, an official announcement will be made in the coming days.

Love Mocktail is about a youngster reminiscing about his past life to a woman whom he happens to rescue. He tells her about the heartbreaks that he endured in his quest to find true love.

Meanwhile, Satyadev’s upcoming film, Uma Maheswara Ugra Roopasya, is expected to have its digital premiere soon. This film is a remake of hit Malayalam film Maheshinte Prathikaram.

Tamannaah is waiting to resume the shoot of her upcoming Telugu film, Seetimaarr. She is also working on the post-production of her Bollywood film, Bole Chudiyan.
