Shruti Haasan, who battled depression and overcame alcoholism, and took a year-long break from films to set her on track. Now that she is back on track, Shruti is all set for a comeback in films. She has signed Ravi Teja’s film Krack directed by Gopichand Malineni.

As the shooting of her film Krack is expected to start sometime, Shruti Haasan who was in Mumbai under lockdown has come down to Hyderabad in her own car after the lockdown is lifted. Shruti, however, hasn’t met any of her industry friends or her film team.

Shruti has taken a house for herself in Hyderabad and is now under self-quarantine for two weeks. This shows her commitment for work and society. As Corona cases in Maharashtra, particularly in Mumbai are on steep rise, Shruti has taken the decision to be in self Quarantine. This is really a welcome act of Shruti.

Meanwhile, the shooting of Krack is expected to begin in first or second week of July. 10 to 15 days of film’s shoot is left. A song is said to be pending and some scenes are left. Shruti Haasan is pinning high hopes on this film as she is expecting to bag more offers. Shruti has earlier worked with Ravi Teja and director Gopichand for Balupu. The trio has collaborated for Krack.
