Actors getting replaced in movies are quite common in Bollywood. However, it is always difficult for the person filling into the shoes of the earlier actor. And one also wonders if the film would have turned out to be different if the first choice of the director had prevailed. Talking about the same, Kareena Kapoor Khan stepped into the shoes of Aishwarya Rai Bachchan in Madhur Bhandarkar’s ‘Heroine’ because the Bachchan bahu was pregnant with Aaradhya at the time. During that time, Kareena, at a press conference, was asked if the film would have been different if Aishwarya has resumed the lead role.
Replying to the same, Bebo had reportedly replied by saying Aish is a wonderful actress and an icon of our country. It is very unfair to compare us, we are from two different generations.
Although Kareena Kapoor Khan received mixed reviews for her film, ‘Heroine’, the movie remains one of the most critically acclaimed films of the actress.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Kareena was last seen in ‘Angrezi Medium’
co-starring Irrfan Khan. The movie that hit the theatres on March 13,
received positive response from the audience and critics alike.
Next, she will be seen in Karan
Johar’s ‘Takht’. The movie boasts of an ensemble star cast that
includes, Ranveer Singh, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Alia Bhatt, Vicky Kaushal,
Janhvi Kapoor, Bhumi Pednekar and Anil Kapoor.
Aishwarya, on the other hand, will next be seen in Mani Ratnam’s next.
The film also stars Vikram, Karthi, Jayam Ravi, Keerthy Suresh and Amala
Paul.
