Sai Pallavi, Madonna Sebastian and Nivin Pauly starrer romantic entertainer ‘Premam’ was one of the biggest blockbuster of Malayalam film industry. The movie, directed by Alphonse Puthren, gave a blockbuster career to all the stars in the film. The movie Premam also made Alphonse Puthren the most popular director then with back to back hit films targeting youth. Premam was released on 29th May 2015 and it has completed 5 years. On this occasion, the young beauty Sai Pallavi interacted with a popular entertainment portal and revealed an interesting titbit.

Talking about the innocence that was naturally portrayed by her and Nivin Pauly, Sai Pallavi said that she and Nivin Pauly never acted but only reciprocated in all the love scenes in the movie Premam. Kanam actress Sai Pallavi went on to say that she has been recreating the same innocence in all her movies, especially in romantic films.

The director Alphonse Puthren also revealed surprising news about Premam and said that Nivin Pauly was not the first choice for the film. The romantic film was first offered to young actor Dulqer Salman but due to the clash of dates the actor rejected the offer and the role fell in the lap of Nivin Pauly.

The film was also made in Telugu as a remake starring Akkineni Naga Chaitanya and Shruti Haasan. Meanwhile Sai Pallavi will be next seen sharing the screen space with Rana Daggubati in Virata Parvam.
