Akshay Kumar is undoubtedly one of the busiest actors we have in Bollywood. The actor, who does films back to back in a year, says he does not mind starring alongside another big star in a film. However, he also feels that unlike Hollywood, Bollywood is still not up for it. Opening up about the same in an interview with a news portal, Akshay Kumar reportedly said that he has always believed in the concept of ‘the more, the merrier’ and he feels it’s a pity that unlike Hollywood, we don’t do multi-starrers or even two-hero films in Bollywood.
Akshay has shared screen space with Ajay Devgn and Ranveer Singh in ‘Sooryavanshi’ where the two actors play a special cameo. Talking about working with the actors, Akshay added that shooting with them was great. He also stated that Ajay and he goes back a long way, having done quite a few films together in the past when ‘two hero’ films were a thing. He also added that now Ranveer is also a good friend and that they share a great rapport on screen as well as off screen.
This is the first time that Akshay has collaborated with filmmaker Rohit Shetty. The movie is the next movie in the Rohit Shetty’s cop universe after ‘Singham’ and ‘Simmba’. Katrina Kaif too has worked with the director for the first time.
Akshay and Katrina, on the other hand, have done quite a few films together which include, ‘Houseful’ and ‘Namaste London’.
The trailer of the movie has already
created quite a buzz around the movie amongst the movie buffs. The
action cop drama will hit the theatres on March 24, 2020.
