Poorna is one of the talented actresses of South. Few days ago, she was in the news headlines when a guy named Anwar Ali from Dubai cheated her in the name of marriage that gave a huge shock to everyone.

According to the latest update, Judicial First Class Magistrate Court granted bail to three accused persons in the case related to the blackmail attempt on Poorna. The bail was granted to Aboobacker, Harris and Sharath. Aboobacker and Harris had visited Poorna’ house pretending to be relatives of Anwar Ali whose marriage proposal was considered by Poorna and family. The bail was granted on execution of a bond worth D1 lakh each or two solvent sureties

They approached actress Poorna and her family with a marriage proposal and later demanded Rs 1 lakh from her and threatened to ruin her career by sharing photographs and videos of her.

The sources say that Poorna is quite upset with the whole incident and does not want to marry.  The thought of marriage itself is scaring Poorna. She also informed her parents to leave her alone as of now. Poorna predominantly works in Malayalam and Tamil film industries. She has acted in over 50 movies including Suriya starrer Kaappaan,  Vijay Sethupathi starrer Marconi Mathai, Mammootty starrer Oru Kuttanadan Blog, among others.
