We’re closer to the end of 2019 and closer than ever before to the first wave of smartphones that’ll be unveiled in 2020. Samsung’s Galaxy S series is one of the first flagships that we’ll see next year and we already have some information regarding the upcoming S11 series.

Reliable tipster Evan Blass (@evleaks) has shed light on the size of the screens on the next-generation flagships. Like last year, there will be three models in the S11 lineup, likely the S11e, the regular S11 and the S11+. The S11e will have a 6.2 or a 6.4-inch display. But unlike the flat display on the S10e, the successor will have curved edges like the regular S10 and the S10+. The S10 and the S10+, on the other hand, will have 6.7-inch and 6.9-inch displays respectively. While there’s no confirmation on the display quality and resolution, we can pretty much expect them to be AMOLED panels with qHD resolution or more (except for the S11e, which will most likely have a FullHD+ panel).

Evan also stated that both the S11e and the S11 will have two different variants, one 5G and the other LTE. The S11+ will only come in one 5G variant though. The phones can be expected to be powered by the upcoming Snapdragon 865 in the US market and the recently-unveiled Exynos 990 SoC in other markets like India. Important to note that the Exynos 990 SoC also has support for 120Hz displays which might mean that the S11 series will feature higher-refresh rate displays.

Tipster Ishan Agrawal has also confirmed the colourways the upcoming phones will be painted in. The S11e will be available in Blue, Grey and Pink, and the S11 will be available in Blue, Grey and Black. He also revealed the colours of the rumoured S10 lite and the Note10 lite models. The former phone will be available in Black, Blue and White while the latter will be available in Red, Silver, and Black. Also, a new generation of Galaxy Buds are also in development and will be available in colours of Blue, Pink, Black and White.

The S11 series is expected to be unveiled in February 2020.
