Vivo will reportedly soon launch a new version of its premium X60 handset. 

Vivo may soon launch a new version of its X60 smartphone. According to reports, the new variant will come with a curved display. The original model comes with a flat display.

Gizmochina points out that the leakster Digital Chat Station had first leaked about a curved display version of the phone in December last year. The leakster had said the curved version would ship with a 4,200mAh battery. As of now, there is no word on what other specs change the upcoming phone may offer. The leakster, however, had said the curved version would cost the same as the original model.

In case you did not know, Vivo had launched the X60 in December last year. The company launched the phone in India in March. The vanilla model of the series, which also features X60 Pro and X60 Pro+, comes in Midnight Black and Shimmer Blue colours.

The phone also comes with Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 SoC, 6.56-inch full HD+ (2376×1080 pixels) AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate. It runs on FunTouch 11.1 based on Android 11. It also packs a 4300mAh battery that supports 33W flash charge technology as well. It is available for a starting price of 37,990.

The X60 Pro has the same display and camera specs but with upgraded features like Gimbal Stabilisation 2.0 and others. It runs on the same Snapdragon 870 processor and 4200mAh battery with 33W flash charge tech. The top-end model, X60 Pro Plus, has Snapdragon 888 processor, the same display and a 4200mAh battery with 55W fast charging tech.
