Divinity: Original Sin 2 has just received a free update that adds powerful sets of armor to the game, along with their own associated quests, as part of The Four Relics of Rivellon Gift Bag.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 doesn’t have paid DLC as of the time of writing, but developer Larian Studios has been adding free updates to the game throughout its run. These updates are known as Gift Bags and they can be seen on the main menu. The Beauty Salon Gift Bag added new customization options for characters, the Song of Nature added optional features that change how the game is played, Order and Magic added new combat and skill options, and Sorcerer Secrets added new Talents and difficulty options.

Larian Studios has announced the fifth Gift Bag for Divinity: Original Sin 2, which will add four new sets of armor to the game. The Four Relics of Rivellon update is available to download right now for every version of the game.

According to the Steam page for Divinity: Original Sin 2, the four titular relics each possess their own special abilities. The Captain Armor confers the ability to use mental domination spells, as well as enhancing the Lucky Charm, Persuasion, and Bartering skills. The Vulture Armor is for the Obi-Wan Kenobis of the world, as it enhances the wearer’s damage when they are striking from higher ground. The Contamination Armor can make the player immune to poison and will let them spawn exploding spores. The Devourer Armor can mark targets, which will ensure that the wearer will never miss and will deal extra damage to them. The Four Relics of Rivellon also adds a number of bug-fixes to the game.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is already jam-packed full of content, yet Larian Studios wants to make sure that the players have plenty of reasons to return to the world of Rivellon in search of powerful loot.

Divinity: Original Sin 2 is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
